June 21, 2010 – GIZA Landscaping of Creston, Iowa experienced a structural failure, to its facility, as a result of the winter weather heavy snow and ice build-up. A noticeable dip was noted to the facility roof structure and after a closer inspection it was noted that several wood trusses had failed and were cracking and bowing.
The insurance carrier contacted TC3 Construction services to shore the building and begin structural engineering to support in support of the scope of loss and ultimately the permanent structural repairs. Once structural engineering had completed their repair design, TC3 Construction Services prepared a guaranteed price bid and submitted to the carrier for approval.
The owner’s of GIZA Landscaping were pleased with the overall detail and attentiveness of TC3 Construction Services, that they retained TC3 Construction Services to complete the permanent repairs. Repairs began June 21, 2010 and are expected to be completed within 60 days.
